Announcement for young scientists

XIII Annual Conference on the World Economy "BRICS and Rethinking the Global Economic Order“ will be held 3‑5 December 2025 by the School of World Economy in cooperation with BRICS Expert Council—Russia. Detailed information is available on the Conference website.

The conference is devoted to the role of BRICS in shaping a multipolar economy, including new formats of international cooperation and trade relations, challenges and opportunities for developing economies in the context of global transformation. 
 

The working language of the event is English. 
 

On December 5, 2025, a Youth day will be held within the framework of the Conference, in which students (bachelors and masters) and graduate students are invited to take part in. The selection of reports will be carried out on a competitive basis.
To participate in the competition, it is necessary to send the title and an extended abstract of the report to the expert committee of the conference before November 7th. 
 

Areas of reports accepted: 
1. BRICS in the era of economic wars;
2. BRICS and the future role of the dollar in the global economy;
3. The Post-2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: a BRICS perspective
4. BRICS and the "fair green transition".
The application for the proposal of the report for submission should include: 
• Information about the author (full name, university, educational program, course), 
• Selected direction, 
• An abstract (Word or RTF, 2000-7000 characters in English), which reveals the problem, the degree of its study, methodology, results, their validity and novelty. 

The selection results will be published no later than November 20, 2025.
