International School for Students and Young Scientists 'Quaternions, Geometric Algebras, and Applications' (November 14-16, 2025, online)

The Laboratory for Geometric Algebra and Applications of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at HSE University, in collaboration with the International Research Laboratory 'Multiscale Mathematical Modeling and Computer Calculations' (NEFU, Yakutsk), as part of the HSE Mirror Laboratories: 'Quaternions, Geometric Algebras, and Applications' project, is organizing the International School for Students and Young Scientists 'Quaternions, Geometric Algebras, and Applications'. The school is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Nikolay Guryevich Marchuk and will be held online on November 14-16, 2025.

The School is organized within the framework of the HSE Mirror Laboratories project 'Quaternions, Geometric Algebras and Applications'.

School Topics: Quaternions and hypercomplex numbers; Geometric algebras (GA), Clifford and Grassmann algebras, generalized Clifford algebras; Spin groups, spinors and the Dirac equation in field theory and physics; Applications of GA and quaternions in image processing, neural networks, and GIS; Other applications in computer science, engineering, and physics.

 

We invite all interested students and graduate students to participate in the event. Participants are welcome to present their own talks on topics related to the school's theme.
