Workshop "AI feedback on your presentation skills: A VR training experience"
Join this interactive workshop to revisit the essentials of an effective presentation and put them into practice in front of both real and virtual audiences. You will explore how innovative technologies—such as VR headsets and AI driven feedback tools—can help to practice and refine presentation skills. The AI system will analyze each presenter’s performance and provide instant personalized feedback on several aspects of delivery. At the same time, your peers will observe your presentation, offering their own insights on your content and delivery. Which feedback will be more relevant?
To know this, you should prepare a five slide presentation (including a title slide and a slide with references) for a three minute talk on your research. The presentation should be scaled for a broad audience, with the goal of popularizing science by making it accessible and engaging.
Speaker: Elizaveta Tikhomirova is a language instructor, translator, and course designer in ESP, academic writing, and public speaking skills. Her main interests embrace modern pedagogical practices, use of digital tools and edutainment in language teaching, developing STEM students’ soft skills and academic writing.
