International Symposium “Foresight in a Rapidly Changing World”

Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge of the National Research University Higher School of Economics hosts International Symposium “Foresight in a Rapidly Changing World” on April 16–17, 2026 in the framework of XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin.

The Symposium will focus on discussing advanced approaches to futures studies, including best practices in national and international science, technology and innovation Foresight, the features of foresight-studies in the context of rapid changes in society, economy, politics, culture and values. Top global experts in this field from different countries will present results of their foresight studies, share modern approaches for organising foresight projects under new conditions, as well as discuss their experience in application of contemporary methods of futures studies.

The Symposium is organised in the framework of Strategic Project ‘National Centre for Socio-Economic and Science, Technology Foresight’ and UNESCO Chair on Future Studies.

Symposium format: online at Zoom platform (the link will be sent in reply to registration).

Working languages: English and Russian with simultaneous translation.
