Open House Days for the Master's Programme 'Applied Statistics with Network Analysis' (now online)
The Master's programme 'Applied Statistics with Network Analysis' and the International Laboratory for Applied Network Analysis of the Higher School of Economics invites you to their Open House Days. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, events will be held online.
This is a unique opportunity to meet with Valentina Kuskova, Head of the School of Applied Network Analysis. Guests will also have to opportunity to chat with laboratory staff, students, and graduates of the programme to learn about academic opportunities and more.
Traditionally, we hold master classes during our Open House Days. In them you will learn:
- Why data analysis has become as important a skill as reading and writing
- What computational social science is
- What contemporary data analysis methods are
- Why networks are important
- How to analyse Big data
- How to assess efficiency with mathematical methods
- What's new in machine learning technology

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are moving to the online format for conducting Open House Days and master classes. To do this, we will use Zoom and Telegram chat for prompt communication with participants (sending invitations and monitoring broadcast quality).
