The report is devoted to the effects and mechanisms analysis of the disabled child physical activity influence on the social well-being of his family members.

The resources of a family raising a child with special medical needs are considered from the standpoint of P. Bourdieu's concept of social space and capital, the theory of ecosystems. The role the disabled child health level influence on the social well-being of his family members is determined. The phenomenon of physical culture and sports is presented as a social space, its structure and its main features of the specific habitus of its agents are determined. The contradictions in the legislative and social regulation are identified as factors in the management of the socio-ecological system of a family with a disabled child in this space. For a family with a disabled child, the space of physical culture and sports is a "space of opportunities" for correcting the child's physical condition. The immersion and intensity of interaction and practical actions of family members in this space has a complex biopsychosocial nature and affects the family at all levels of functioning. The speaker proposes for discussion the results of an empirical study of the family members social well-being level through the dynamics of social and cultural capital, depending on the level of physical activity of a disabled child. The process of integrating a family with a disabled child into the social space of physical culture and sports is presented in the form of a model of interaction of the family's ecosystem, which combines the concept of transformation of the habitus and practices of agents, social, cultural and material capital into a single whole, taking into account barriers and facilitating factors for this category of families.
