Open Seminar “Can India replace China as global factory?”

School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs invites everyone interested to participate in the Open Seminar “ Can India replace China as global factory?”. The seminar will be conducted on Thursday, April 27, 2023, by Dr. Sudip Chakraborty from North Bengal University.

Dr. Sudip Chakraborty authored seven books and around thirty research papers on issues of poverty, child labour and child trafficking. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar in the U.S.A during 2008. He received Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) to visit the University of Amsterdam as Visiting Fellow.  His presentation on Economics and Politics of India in Sion (Switzerland), in Amsterdam (Netherlands), in Oxford University (UK), in Florida (USA), North Dakota (USA), Minnesota (USA), in Australia, Ghana (West Africa), in Brazil was appreciated by scholars across the globe.  His participation and presentations on children’s issues, in Sion(Switzerland), in Amsterdam (Netherlands), in Oxford University (UK), in Florida (USA), North Dakota( USA), Minnesota (USA) , in Australia, in Kampala of Uganda, in Accra, Ghana (West Africa), in Buenos Aires of Argentina, in Brazil. He was invited to deliver lecture at World Anthropology Congress at Poznan in Poland in 2019.
