
KIVO ‘Nursery’ for Education Projects Held in Perm
The Perm campus of HSE University has hosted the KIVO Nursery pre-accelerator for educational projects. The projects will be presented at the KIVO 2022 Competition of Innovations in Education. Dozens of innovators from the Perm region took part, pitching their projects and receiving feedback from experts. The event also featured the presentation of the preliminary results of the HSE University Institute of Education expedition ‘The Ecosystem of Educational Innovations in the Perm Region’.

Russian Researchers Assess the Power of T-Cell Immune Response to Omicron BA.1 and BA.2
Scholars from HSE University and the RAS Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry have demonstrated the efficiency of T-cell immune response against the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2. In approximately 90% of vaccinated Europeans, T-cell immunity was as effective against Omicron as with other variants. The results of the study were published in PeerJ.

Winners of AFK Sistema Scholarship Competition for MIEM Project Teams Announced
AFK Sistema's scholarship competition for software and hardware projects of the Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM), HSE University, has come to a close. The aim of the competition was to find talented teams of designers in the field of microelectronics among MIEM students. The winners of the competition were awarded personal scholarships.

As the current situation requires a reorientation of export flows from Europe to Asia, this route is taking on a new significance in the search for effective transport communication with Indian and Chinese markets. An Arctic Research session was held at the XXIII Yasin International Academic Conference.
