Professor Clyde Wilcox Gives Lecture on ‘American Electoral System: Presidential Elections of 2016’

On May 15, the HSE School of Foreign Languages organized a talk on the ‘American Electoral System: Presidential Elections of 2016’ by Clyde Wilcox, Renowned Professor of the Government Department at Georgetown University. Professor Wilcox went into detail about the U.S. electoral system and also shed light on the key advantages and shortcomings of the 2016 presidential candidates from various political parties.

Professor Wilcox spent a lot of time discussing campaign financing and potential bureaucratic problems connected with the election process. Lecture attendees, among whom were representatives from various universities, showed genuine interest and actively participated in the discussion.
