HSE Printing House Now Available for Students and Staff
The HSE Printing House has been granted the right to provide commercial services for HSE students and staff, as well as for other individuals and organizations. Previously, it was only able to support HSE departments after receiving written requests from their heads. We are now pleased to invite everyone who needs printing, copying, binding, lamination, and other related services.
The main facilities of the printing house are located at the HSE building on 3 Kochnovsky Proezd, room 106; several other university buildings have various smaller copying facilities. At these facilities, we only complete urgent copy orders in black & white, print files, and bind with staples or plastic coils. All other printing services can be provided by the main manufacturing facility.
Printing house services
1. Printing and copying any papers: sections of textbooks and academic books, home assignments, written assignments, abstracts, drawings, term papers and student theses, handouts, etc. Copying and printing can be made from paper originals and PDF files.
2. Printing any black & white and coloured products, such as business cards, coupons, leaflets, flyers, drawings and posters sized up to A0.
3. Manufacturing multi-page printed products, such as paperback or hardcover (Metalbind) books, glue-bound brochures, wire-bound journals with round or square stubs, notebooks on coils, and stapled sheets.
4. Production with post-press finishing: joint forming, laminating, cutting, perforation, die-cutting, embossing, metal foil embossing of files with flat and extensional pockets, leaflets, 2- to 5-fold maps, signs, calendars, bags, envelopes, certificates, passes, postcards, invitations, etc.
5. Producing and selling to students personalized HSE-branded printed materials: stationary, workbooks, notebooks, calendars, bookmarks, business cards, merchandise, etc.
Placing orders and payment
Orders can be placed in person at the printing house venues; orders can also be placed by email by sending the task specification and the layout file at print@hse.ru. Orders should be in Russian, so international faculty may refer to their faculty coordinators for help and international students – to their buddies. An employee will respond with a price quote and will answer all questions related to the order.
Printing house services can be paid for with one of the following methods:
1. Online on the HSE website, or using Sberbank ATMs, including those installed at HSE;
2. Via Sberbank’s online banking system, or Sberbank app, if you have a Sberbank card;
3. Bank transfer to HSE’s account, specifying the code of the printing house department, contract number, and the purpose of payment;
4. Via other online payment systems.
If the order is not fulfilled immediately while the client is waiting, the products can be received at the main facility or delivered to any other printing house office at HSE.
