Sergey Karaganov Is Appointed to the Panel of Eminent Persons on European Security as a Common Project
Chairman of the OSCE, Switzerland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Didier Burkhalter proposed that Sergey A. Karaganov, Dean of HSE’s Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs and Honorable Chairman of the Presidium of the Council for Foreign and Defence Policy, should be included in the High-level Panel of Eminent Persons on European Security as a Common Project. The Panel’s first working meeting will be at the Munich Security Conference in February this year.
The panel consists of 15 high-profile figures from all regions of the OSCE with broad experience in the area of European security issues, and includes politicians and analysts. The panel is expected to prepare a report in 2015 on ways to reform the system of cooperation and security in Europe, and give an account of the results of OSCE participation in Ukrainian crisis issues. In 2016 they will deliver and promote reports at platforms like the Munich Security Conference and the World Economic Forum.

Two HSE University Researchers Among Winners of Research Excellence Award Russia 2021
Elsevier (operated by Scopus) has awarded its prestigious Research Excellence Award since 2005. This year, it celebrates the Year of Science and Technology in Russia.
