The HSE Lyceum hosted the Big Winter Event, a traditional large-scale celebration culminating in a gathering of Lyceum students in the Atrium of the HSE University campus on Pokrovsky Bulvar. During the preparations for the grand ball, which took two months, more than 2,000 Lyceum students and employees explored the theme of ‘the Renaissance’ in a variety of ways.

Russia is becoming an increasingly popular study destination for African students, and HSE University is actively seeking to attract more students from African countries. Bakary S. Sonko, from Gambia, is a master’s student at the Graduate School of Business and an active member of the volunteering community both at HSE University and beyond. Ensuring equal accessibility of digital services for people with disabilities is a task for every university, and Russian society is purposefully moving towards ensuring equal access to digital services for all. The Unit for Strategic Digital Development and Partnerships of HSE University’s Digital Office is also engaged in these tasks.
