Maria Yudkevich, HSE University Vice Rector
‘We are looking forward to seeing many of you winners and laureates in our academic teams and research laboratories at HSE University. Their doors are open to you. Come along when we announce major enrolments. Come to open seminars, see what life in the labs is like, see what the teams do, and become part of them.’
Award ceremonies (including meetings with the experts responsible for assessing submissions and representatives of faculties and programmes) were held online in all 24 fields covered by the SPRC. This year’s competition featured one new field: Demography.
‘Organising the SRPC is a coordinated effort by a large team that includes members from all HSE University campuses,’ explained Tatyana Zakharova, coordinator of the SRPC and Deputy Director of the HSE University Centre for Leadership and Volunteer Work. ‘We would like to thank the members of the organising committee and the subject commissions, as well as the experts who made this competition possible.’
‘The future development of the competition involves attracting more submissions from students of other universities, expanding its geographical scope to find and support talented students who are interested in research work,’ commented Grigory Bannikov, Manager of the Centre for Student Academic Development and HSE University graduate.
Winners of the competition receive a bursary and enjoy new opportunities for academic development.
Ivan Gruzdev, Director for Internal Monitoring and Student Academic Development at HSE University
