In the 2025/26 academic year, students graduated from 14 joint degree programmes—eight bachelor's and six master's programmes—delivered by HSE University in partnership with other universities across Russia and neighbouring countries at the campuses of those partner institutions. Admissions to these programmes are managed by the partner universities, and graduates receive diplomas from both the partner university and HSE University.

The first graduation of the Master's in Information Security in the Financial Sector, implemented jointly by the Bank of Russia and HSE University with the organisational involvement of the Bank of Russia University, took place at the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. Anton Sergeev, Programme Academic Supervisor, and Andrey Afonin, Director of the Bank of Russia University, awarded diplomas to the graduates.

HSE MIEM, in partnership with Nanotronika JSC, is launching a new master's track: Digital Systems of Technological Complexes of Electronics . Students will study the design of specialised equipment for electronic manufacturing while working on real-world engineering projects together with the industrial partner. The new track is designed to prepare specialists for one of the fastest-growing and most in-demand sectors of the high-tech industry.

This year, Elizaveta Zorina is completing her Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence Hardware and Software at the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (HSE MIEM). In autumn 2025, she spent six months in China as part of an academic mobility programme. In 2024, Ikenna Mbata, from Owerri, Nigeria, enrolled on the Master’s in Science, Technology and Innovation Management and Policy at ISSEK in Moscow. After two years of studies, on June 1, 2026 he successfully defended his master’s thesis ‘The Spatial Distribution of Pharma Start-ups in Africa: An Analysis of Innovation Clusters and Policy Drivers.’ In his interview with the HSE News Service, Ikenna speaks about his research topic, the role of HSE University in shaping his skills, the importance of volunteering, and the benefits of studying in an international environment.
