
HSE University to Launch Double-Degree Programme with Mexican University UPAEP
In September 2026, the Master's programme 'Data Analytics for Politics and Society' is to launch a unique international track—a double-degree programme implemented in collaboration with Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP), a leading Mexican university, in the field of applied economics.

‘Combining the Strengths of Different Universities’
In the 2025/26 academic year, students graduated from 14 joint degree programmes—eight bachelor's and six master's programmes—delivered by HSE University in partnership with other universities across Russia and neighbouring countries at the campuses of those partner institutions. Admissions to these programmes are managed by the partner universities, and graduates receive diplomas from both the partner university and HSE University.

Joint Master's Programme of HSE University and Bank of Russia Honours First Graduates
The first graduation of the Master's in Information Security in the Financial Sector, implemented jointly by the Bank of Russia and HSE University with the organisational involvement of the Bank of Russia University, took place at the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. Anton Sergeev, Programme Academic Supervisor, and Andrey Afonin, Director of the Bank of Russia University, awarded diplomas to the graduates.

HSE and Saints Cyril and Methodius Institute Launch First Master’s Programme in Religious Diplomacy
On May 28, 2026, an open day will be held for the Master’s programme ‘Religious Diplomacy in a Multipolar World,’ for which enrolment will open for the first time during the forthcoming admissions campaign. The programme will be delivered on-site by the HSE Higher School of Law and Administration in partnership with the Saints Cyril and Methodius Institute for Postgraduate Studies. The programme offers 15 state-funded openings, five fee-paying positions, and two tuition-fee slots for international students.
