Results of HSE St Petersburg Summer School 2023
In August, the HSE University-St Petersburg Summer School came to an end. The participants attended courses in political science, Russian, and finance given by professors of HSE University-St Petersburg, got to know the city, and saw the sights as part of the cultural programme. The summer school hosted students from nine countries: China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Germany, Uzbekistan and Russia.

From a Minor in Data Science to Developing a ‘Robot Political Scientist’
Pavel Ivanov is a 2023 graduate of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics'. Recently, he was named a winner of the political science research paper competition named after Max Weber and also participated in creating 'the first robot political scientist'. Armine Abrahamyan on Exchange Studies at HSE University-St Petersburg

Galina Shirokova, Professor at the Department of Management at HSE University-St Petersburg, has worked alongside international researchers to identify the role of social circles and cultural values in the success of young businesswomen. They found that support within a group increases the chances of women engaging in entrepreneurship.

HSE University and Rossotrudnichestvo Agree to Train Specialists in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language
HSE University and Rossotrudnichestvo have signed an agreement to establish a Russian Language Centre at HSE University in St Petersburg. It will train teachers of Russian studies and future leaders of educational programmes and courses of Russian as a foreign language. The document was signed by HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov and Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Yevgeny Primakov at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
