3d International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference

The CLMS members participated in 3d International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference which was held in Moscow on 19-20 May 2017 at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) with the support of Research Center “Demoscope”, Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

The CLMS Director Vladimir Gimpelson was the chairman of the session "Education and Labour Market" which was held on Saturday, May 20. Together with the Deputy Director of CLMS, Rostislav Kapeliushnikov and the Senior Research Fellow of CLMS Alexey Oshchepkov he also presented the report "Why Do Wages Rise with Job Seniority in the Post-Socialist Countries: New Evidence from Russia" on May 19.

Anna Lukiyanova, Senior Research Fellow of CLMS, co-authored two presentations of the conference, "Labour Market Discrimination of the Disabled in Russia" (with Anna Demiyanova) which was presented on May 19, and "Educational Assortative Mating and Impact on Income Inequality in Russia" with Daria Zinchenko), which was presented on May 20.

The CLMS Research Fellow Anna Zudina presented her research "What Lies Beneath" Average "Level of Subjective Indicators? Trajectories of Self-Evaluations in Russia in 2000-2014" on 20 May.
