A good tradition
Another academic year is coming to an end, and with it more than 6,000 HSE graduates enter a new world, full of unimaginable opportunities and inspirational triumphs.
By tradition, each year HSE gives its graduates a grand send-off. After all, they deserve it! HSE organizes a celebration: a large and noisy party, where graduates have the opportunity to talk, relax, dance, play, enjoy the show and get some parting words of advice from their teachers, deans and the university rector.
Let’s remember how much fun we had in previous years:
The tradition started in 2013, when a proper, but still heartwarming graduation took place on stage at Moscow Luzhniki Sports Hall.
In 2014 a whole world called ‘HSE Valley' was conjured up for a special ‘Back to the Future’ themed graduation party, where Marty and Doc greeted guests.
In 2015 HSE graduates partied in a galaxy far far away, and HSE Rector acted as Darth Vader...
Graduation at Hogwarts
Each year HSE chooses a special theme for the graduation, to ensure it’s a party to remember. For many graduates, studying at HSE was a magical time in their life, so welcome to HSE Hogwarts!
On June 27 Jagger Hall will be transformed into a castle from the magical world of Harry Potter, and the heroes of this epic will mingle with the guests, so don't be surprised if you trip over Ron Weasley, and don’t be too naughty, or Severus Snape will turn you into a beer mug.
A panoply of exciting adventures and activities will be laid on for the guests, and a grand show by a number of different HSE student organisations will be performed on the big stage.
And what about Professor Dumbledore? Ah, of course, Yaroslav Kuzminov will appear on the stage with a special speech near the end of the magic ball.
A concert will follow the ball, and from midnight to 5 am DJs will entertain guests at HSE Hogwarts.

Dear graduate,
We are glad to inform you that you are invited to the official HSE Graduation 2017, which will take place on June 27 in Jagger Hall.
The following information is important to know before you set off to the magical world:
Dress code
Graduation is not a costume party. However, little details from Harry Potter for your look will help to create the special Hogwarts atmosphere during the celebration.

00:00 – 06:00 DJ sets
Bar
Graduation is a once in a lifetime event, so it’s important to remember it.
The average price of a cocktail at the bar is 350 RUB.
Entry
You need to purchase a ticket for the Hogwarts Express in order to get to the party. Rubeus Hagrid, Hogwarts’ gatekeeper, will check the ticket at the entrance. You can also book a table in advance on a deposit system (purchase of a general admission ticket is required).
