The Results of a Study of Russian Entrepreneurs’ Digital Activity Were Discussed at a Joint EC/OECD Workshop

Experts from the ISSEK Centre for Business Tendencies Studies (CBTS) presented the results of a pilot project to measure digital activity of Russian industrial and retail companies at the 9th Joint EC/OECD Workshop (14-15 November 2019, Paris, France).

Business Cycles in the Russian Service Sector

On 11–14 September 2018 the 34th CIRET (Centre for International Research on Economic Tendency Surveys) conference took place in Rio de Janeiro, where Tamara Lipkind, Leading Expert at the HSE ISSEK Centre for Business Tendencies Studies presented a report on business cycles in the Russian service sector.

UNIDO Report on CIS Countries’ Industrial Statistics is Published, Prepared With Participation of HSE ISSEK Experts

Organisers and participants of the UNIDO project “Improving Industrial Statistics, and Developing Statistical Indicators for Analysing Industry Development in the CIS countries” discussed results of the project’s analytical component at a workshop in Sochi. An important contribution to the project was made by Liudmila Kitrar, UNIDO Consultant and Deputy Director of the HSE ISSEK Centre for Business Tendencies Studies (CBTS), and the CBTS staff.

ISSEK Experts Took Part in Improving the CIS Countries’ Industrial Statistics in the Scope of the UNIDO Project

Preprint “Industrial Development in the CIS: Re-industrialisation Trends and Potential” is published at the UNIDO official website. The publication presents statistical analysis of the scale and trends of manufacturing industry development in Russia and the CIS countries, focusing on efficiency of integration processes, quality of industrial policy, and strengthening competitiveness.
