Quentin Vanhaelen

Quentin Vanhalen has over 10 years of experience in systems biology, bioinformatics, and machine learning/artificial intelligence for drug discovery and target identification. He holds a Master's degree in theoretical physics. From 2006 to 2010, he pursued his PhD in physics while simultaneously working on several projects in systems biology.  Quentin Vanhalen has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics such as nonequilibrium thermodynamics of liquid-liquid interfaces, evolutionary theories of aging, and computational analysis of signaling pathway dynamics. He has written several chapters and edited two books. His research interests focus on non-programmed theories of aging, studying the dynamics of chemical reaction networks, dynamic analysis of signaling pathway dynamics, and the application of machine learning/artificial intelligence methods to understand disease mechanisms.
