New article in Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory

An article "Public Service Motivation as a Predictor of Corruption, Dishonesty, and Altruism" by Jordan Gans-Morse, Alexander Kalgin, Andrey Klimenko, Dmitriy Vorobyev and Andrei Yakovlev was published online in Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.

Impressions from the 19th April Conference

After the conference is over it’s time to reflect on what this year has brought to plan for the participation in the next year’s event, and The HSE Look talked to several internationally recruited HSE faculty members about what they value most about participating in the April Conference and what topics and discussions they found most interesting this year.

From Shanghai to Guangzhou and Back: HSE Lecturers Visit Chinese Universities

Staff members from the HSE Faculty of Social Sciences have made over 50 trips to international conferences in the past year. Alexander Kalgin, Lecturer at the School of Public Administration, shared his impressions about the International Symposium on Development and Governance in BRICS countries in Shanghai, and a visit to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou to discuss a joint research project and to meet with representatives of the university administration responsible for international education cooperation.

On September 24-25, the International Symposium on Development and Governance in BRICS was held at Fudan University in Shanghai.  The event was organized with the support of the Chinese Society for Public Sector Reform.

Young Political Scientists from the HSE Take Part in Organizing Conference in Austria

A young scientists’ conference organized by the European Consortium for Political Research recently took place at the University of Innsbruck (Austria). Students of the HSE Institute of Education’s Master’s programme on Contemporary Political Conflicts organized a session called ‘Political Power & Foreign Policy Analysis’.

NRU HSE delegation at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre

As part of the research conducted by NRU HSE into the economic and organisational aspects of space activities, a meeting was held in Star City between Vice Rector Andrei KLIMENKO and a group of experts with the head of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation, cosmonaut Sergey KRIKALEV and his deputies.
