Responsibilities
Head of the Scientific and Educational Laboratory for Studies in Protection of State Interests under Economic Sanctions at the Law Faculty of the National Research University Higher School of Economics authorized and undertakes:
- To provide and comply with the legislations of the Russian Federation, charter and local regulations of the NRU HSE, orders of the NRU HSE, decisions, resolutions and instructions of the NRU HSE governing bodies.
- To determine research directions of Laboratory’s activates and planning of research, administration.
- To decide on financial, material and technical support of Laboratory’s activates.
- To secure obligations on the NRU HSE contracts executed by Laboratory’s staff.
- To propose development of the Laboratory, increasing its efficiency, staff schedule and employment, transition and employment termination, stimulation and recovery of penalty of Laboratory’s staff.
- To determine employment duties of Laboratory’s staff.
- To represent NRU HSE on Laboratory’s activities issues in state bodies, municipal bodies and legal entities.
- To provide income and expenditure accounting received by the Laboratory for provide services.
- To provide records of management according to NRU HSE regulations.
- To control posting and renewal of information about Laboratory on Laboratory’s web site.

Faculty of Law Team Wins 2nd European Round of John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law
HSE Team Advances to International Final Round of WTO Competition
Students of the HSE Faculty of Law won the regional round of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, which is organized by the European Law Students Association with the support of the World Trade Organization. The final round will be held in Geneva in June.
Master’s Students of HSE Faculty of Law Among Top 10 Teams at The ELSA Moot Court Competition in WTO Law
A team made up of master’s students from the 'Law in International Trade, Finance and Economic Integration' programme has made it into the top ten teams at the international round of the ELSA Moot Court Competition in WTO Law, held in Geneva, Switzerland, from June 19th-24th, 2018.
