International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue was established at HSE in 2017 with the purpose of showcasing the Russian philosophy, literature and art, and focusing on its universal spiritual significance for the fate of Europe and Russia. On November 13 - 18, the fifth philosophical readings dedicated to the theme "Cultural and Philosophical Relations of Florence and Russia" were held as part of the celebration of the World Philosophy Day at the University of Florence (Università degli studi di Firenze). The project was prepared by the Faculty of Humanities of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (the head of the delegation - Dean of Faculty of Humanities Professor A.M. Rutkevich) jointly with the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences (head of the delegation - Professor A.A. Kara-Murza; project coordinator - O.I.
