Responsibilities
Sergey Altukhov - Professor, Director of the Institute of Sports Management and Law of the Higher School of Law and Administration of the HSE-University (Moscow, Russia), PhD. He is the academics director of the International Sport Management Master program at this university and programs of additional education "Management and Entrepreneurship in Motorsport". His main research interests deal with Good Governance in Sport and Geopolitical Economy in Sport.
He has published a nine books dealing with "Management in Sports", "Sport and Doping", "Event Management in Sports", "Management in Ice Hockey” and over 50 scientific articles. Sergey Altukhov is a visiting professor at the Russian International Olympic University, a member of the Council for Professional Qualifications in Sports, a member of the Expert Council for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Russian Parliament. He was recognized as the “best teacher” according to a survey of HSE students in 2019 – 2023.
