Professor Dr. Mauro Doria, from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, will be visiting the Center for Quantum Metamaterials, June 2-10,2023.
The main goal of this scientific visit is a joint research with scientists working at the Center, in particular, with Professor A. Shanenko and Professor A. Vagov. Professor Doria will also give a seminar at the MIEM HSE, where he will talk about his recent work on new materials with non-trivial topological properties.
The entire range of scientific research of the Center was presented at the "8th International Conference on Superconductivity and Magnetism ICSM 2023" in Turkey
The scientists of the Centre for Quantum Metamaterials , Professors A. Shanenko, M. Croitoru and A. Krasavin, and PhD students A. Lukyanov and V. Neverov took part in the international conference "8th Conference on Superconductivity and Magnetism ICSM2023", held in Fethiye (Turkey) , May 4-11, 2023.
The Chief Researcher of the Center, Professor Arkady Shanenko made an Invited Presentation at the authoritative international symposium "Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics" in Nizhny Novgorod.
The report was dedicated to a new phenomenon in superconducting systems, which is associated with an increase of superconductivity near the surface of a superconductor.
Scientists of the Center have developed an algorithm for calculating the dynamics of dissipative quantum systems.
Researchers at the HSE MIEM Center for Quantum Metamaterials, together with colleagues from Germany and the UK, have proposed an algorithm for Automated Compression of Arbitrary environments (ACE).
