  • Leading necessary organizational and personnel changes for better company efficiency and maintaining the unified international management system for both factories. Result: 15% headcount optimization, essential increase of specific production parameters.

Key role to organize export sales of glass packing to Russia.

  • Improved volume of export sales to Russia from USD 100k to USD 20m. Goods imported from company affiliate plants from areas including Finland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Poland. This volume was additional to the existing capacity of plants, generating the requirement to organize local production in Russia.
  • In 1998 responsible for the search and purchase of a site for the future construction of the plant.
  • Negotiated with the government, obtaining necessary permissions, agreements, technical documents. Company design of a technical project, responsible for onsite implementation. During the currency crisis in 1998 construction was frozen.
  • 1999-2000 recovered the level of export sales, the result of USD 23m pa was achieved.
  • 2000-2004 responsible for search of a partner for local production in Russia.
  • Led technical, commercial and financial due diligence of more, than ten Russian glass companies.
  • In 2004  started, conducted a DD, and in 2005 closed a deal with ZAO «OST Tara» - acquired shares of the plant. (M&A)
  • 2005-2006 worked at OST TARA  as a plant  manager from the Company’s side. Responsible for plant production, technical and financial results.

 

Jan 1995 – May 1996         Polarcup, North-West Region

                                        Job Title:  Senior Representative

The Company produces in Finland non-returnable packing for food – PET and paper containers, plates, cups, napkins and other disposables. Responsible for sales, coordination, logistics, marketing.  On joining the Company  annual sales volume was USD 300k, successfully increased sales to USD 1.5m. Organized a joint-venture by selling a filling line «FLEXOFILL» to a milk plant.

For two months, first-years will work closely with the programme's partners. Among them are VK, 'Gazprom', 'Sberbank', Tele2, 'Business Solutions and Technologies', 'Technologies of trust', Kept, 'Samolet', Setl City, 'Geropharm', 'Northern Capital Gateway', Alexandrinsky Theatre, Fabergé Museum, 'Bookvoed' and many others. This is the first fieldwork for students. The projects presentation will take place at the end of May.
