HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. The goal of this large-scale initiative of HSE University-St Petersburg is to introduce talented students from India to educational opportunities in Russia, in particular, HSE educational programmes in four directions: business and economics, design, social and computer sciences.

On November 7, a representative office of HSE University opened in Indonesia. It is a new educational hub for students from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) who are planning to study in Russia, as well as for other Russian universities looking to establish ties with Indonesia. The representative office is based at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) in the city of Surabaya. Its operations are supervised by the HSE University campus in St Petersburg.

On July 1, more than 1,500 newly qualified bachelor’s and master’s graduates of HSE University-St Petersburg celebrated with their mentors at the campus’s traditional joint graduation ceremony. On March 18, 2022, a delegation from the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in St Petersburg paid a visit to HSE-St Petersburg to meet the campus team, talk with Uzbek students, and discuss possible forms and areas of cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan.

The Volunteer Centre of HSE – St. Petersburg will be running a donation point to collect humanitarian aid. The initiative is organized by the Volunteer Centre together with the All-Russian Public Organization ‘Russian Red Cross Society’. The campus students and staff are invited to participate.
