Head of Department
Develops and implements the Department’s strategic development plan.
Organizes and oversees the educational process and monitors the teaching workload of academic staff
Organizes and coordinates the Department’s participation in research grants, academic conferences, and scholarly publications
Oversees the recruitment, placement, and induction of academic staff and makes recommendations regarding appointments, promotions, and dismissals
Conducts staff performance evaluations and organizes and participates in faculty selection and appointment procedures.
Directs and coordinates the activities of the Department
Represents the Department in the University’s governing, academic, and administrative bodies
Ensures compliance by Department staff with University policies, regulations, and disciplinary requirements
