Authorities (Scope of Responsibility / Decision-Making Powers):

• Conduct scientific research and development on specific sections (stages, tasks) of a research topic under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.

• Participate in the execution of experiments, perform observations and measurements, compile their descriptions, and formulate conclusions.

• Prepare reports (or sections of reports) on the research topic or its individual components (stages, tasks).

• Participate in the implementation and application of research and development results.

• Study and analyze scientific and technical literature, as well as domestic and international best practices relevant to the research area.

• Submit applications for participation in scientific discussions, conferences, symposia, funding competitions, as well as for scientific collaboration (including international cooperation), subject to approval by the immediate supervisor.

Duties (Functional Responsibilities):

• Conduct scientific research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.

• Participate in experiments, observations, and measurements; describe the results and formulate conclusions.

• Study scientific and technical information, as well as domestic and international experience pertinent to the research topic.

• Prepare reports on the research topic or its specific sections.

• Participate in the implementation of research results.

• Comply with labor legislation, workplace discipline, local regulations, and the academic ethics code of the HSE University.

• Follow the instructions of the immediate supervisor.

• Complete training in the HSE University information systems and undergo performance assessments (attestation).

• Conduct objective expert reviews of scientific programs and projects.

• Foster professional competencies in students, and promote their independence, initiative, and creative abilities.
