The results of the project "Innovative Technologies of Business Communications: Strategy and Tactics", carried out within the framework of the Programme of Fundamental Studies of the Higher School of Economics in 2011, are presented in this work.

Research Object: The strategy and tactics of  business communications in modern Russia.

Research Purpose: To develop theoretical and methodological models of effective business communications, summarizing the latest concept-based interdisciplinary approach. The project analysed the existing models of communication and offered a radically new helical model of communication that allows the processes of communication in modern business to be described and predicted.

During the project, empirical research was carried out on an analysis of problems such as: communication relationships between business and government; symbolic resources of modern Russian business communications; organizational issues of business communications; and the impact of the Internet on business communications.

Research Results: The report describes in detail the results of these studies and the models of successful persuasion and dialogue, the implementation of which will greatly improve communication processes both within businesses and between the business community and other agencies. These models are described in publications prepared from project results.

Participants in this project prepared and published three articles in the Higher Certifying Commission's magazine list, a collection of scientific articles "Innovative Technologies for Business Communication: Strategy and Tactics" Moscow: HSE, 2011. – 156 p.; collective monograph "The symbols in communication" Moscow: HSE, 2011. – 161 p.; and Proceedings of the International Scientific Conference "Innovative Technologies for Business Communications: Strategies and Tactics. Moscow: HSE, 2011. - 160. Conference proceedings and the collective monograph are available in the Russian Communication Association's electronic library (http://www.russcomm.ru/rca_biblio/issue/index.shtml).

Participants in the project organized the international conference: Innovative Technologies of Business Communications: Strategy and Tactics.

The results, obtained in the course of the investigations, help solve problems associated with 1) the analysis of the current state of business communications in Russia and abroad, 2) the study of the effect of different types of business communications on current processes in the country, 3) the identification of the correlation between the level of confidence in business structures and their degree of transparency, 4) the study of communication systems and their prospects for development both within the various business systems (the banking sector, agro-industrial complex, etc.) and between them, and 5) the study of the status and prospects for development of the communication interaction between business, government, and the nonprofit sector, aimed at the formation of a social partnership.

Research Implementation: The results can be used when preparing courses for students, textbooks, self-study reference books, etc.
