© HSE RUN

The Ingroup StS student organisation invites everyone to take part in HSE’s traditional cultural and historical quest through Moscow — HSE RUN. This autumn the event will be held for the thirtieth time.

The event starts at 10:30 am with performances by HSE creative groups and festival activities organised by student associations in the Media Courtyard of HSE’s building at 2/8 Khitrovsky Pereulok, Korpus 5.

At 12 pm, the quest itself will begin. International participants are also welcome: the quest is held in both Russian and English.

Over the course of four hours, participants will set out on a journey across the city centre, aiming to solve as many riddles as possible and reach the checkpoints within the Garden Ring. Points are awarded for every correct answer and every location visited. The team with the highest score will be declared the winner. Winners and runners-up, whose names will be announced at the closing ceremony, will receive valuable prizes from HSE RUN’s partners.

Thematic Blocks of HSE Run 30:

  • Unbelievable Adventures of Italians in Moscow.
  • Dashing Moscow.

Trubetskoy Estate
— There is a small park near my home with a pond, children’s and sports grounds. I love spending time there and often go for walks to enjoy the fresh air, the beauty of nature, birdsong, and simply to relax and switch off from daily concerns. Sometimes my friends and I have picnics in the park, and these moments always bring a feeling of warmth and comfort.

Arbat Street
This street always brings back nostalgic memories: I used to stroll here in the evenings with my school friends. It is a place where I find calm amid the bustle of the city. I especially remember the 2018 World Cup, when the Arbat was full of fans from across the globe united by their love of football. The street has a unique atmosphere—every corner seems to invite you to take in its beauty.

Romanov Pereulok and Pyatnitskaya Street
I love to lose myself among the old lanes inside the Boulevard Ring, wandering past former mansions and tenement houses with a cup of coffee and good music in my headphones. It helps me relax. I particularly enjoy walking along Romanov Pereulok and Pyatnitskaya Street.

The capital is unique to each of us. Now is the perfect time to gather a team for HSE RUN—an exciting journey through Moscow’s most picturesque streets.

Moscow is a city full of mysteries and unexpected discoveries. Every walk is a small adventure, and HSE RUN is a wonderful way to explore the history and the spirit of the capital, discover its hidden gems, and experience the unique atmosphere of a big city.
