HSE Academic Fund Competitions for Research Projects and Research Teams

The HSE Academic Fund is now accepting applications for the Individual Research Projects Contest and Research Team Project Competition. The deadline for submitting applications is October 9. International faculty members may submit their applications in English.
Applications shall be accepted via a MyHSE Services Account (in Russian). To apply, choose ‘Научные сервисы’ , press ‘Конкурсы Научного фонда’, and then ‘Подать заявку’. To enter MyHSE Services, please enter your corporate e-mail as login@hse.ru, and password.
After an application is completed and sent, the applicant will get a confirmation that it has been submitted for consideration. You can view your saved or sent application via the BPM service at: МОИ ЗАЯВКИ НАУЧНОГО БЛОКА.
Applicants may submit applications for all nominations under the Individual Research Projects Contest and Research Team Project Competition, but only one application may be approved.
If an applicant gets support in one of the Individual Research Projects Contest nominations, but at the time of implementation (since 2020), they are also heading (or taking part in) a Research and Study Group (RSG), which shall reach completion in 2019, they will be unable to participate in the RSG project if it is extended to the following year.
You may find out more about the specifics and the rules of the application process in each of the Individual Research Projects Contest nominations, as well as the requirements for participants and reports, on the HSE Academic Fund website.
Research and Study Groups may be headed by HSE who hold a PhD, Doctor of Sciences, or Candidate of Sciences degree, who work part-time at joint departments established with RAS institutes.

Heads of RSG projects in 2019 who will be completing their work in the current RSG can submit a new application with a new team for the next year, but the decision will be made after the report (submitted in December 2019). For 2019, RSGs willing to extend their work into the following year will be provided an opportunity for extension as part of the report.
