Pyotr Grachev Appointed Director for Digital Transformation

In March 2021, Pyotr Grachev was appointed Director for Digital Transformation at HSE University.

Pyotr Grachev will continue to work on digital transformation at the university, focusing on the development of communication between HSE Digital Office and its structural divisions, the introduction of best practices, modern solutions and decision-making tools based on data and users’ "digital footprint", as well as the development of modern digital intra-university and public services that help optimize key business processes and switch to end-to-end process management.

Before joining HSE University, Pyotr Grachev worked in the field of education for 14 years: from 2007 — at the Ulyanov-Lenin Kazan State University, then — at the Kazan Federal University, building his career from the laboratory assistant to the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Deputy Vice-Rector for Education. During five years, he delivered lectures at the university.

Since 2015, Pyotr Grachev worked at the Innopolis University, creating and developing educational projects in the field of higher education, and then since 2018 he held the position of Director for the development of continuing education programmes.

In 2007, Pyotr Grachev graduated from Ulyanov-Lenin Kazan State University with a degree in Political Science (‘Political Management and Public Relations’), and in 2020 he graduated from the Master's programme ‘Management in Higher Education’, offered by HSE Institute of Education.
