The rector has issued a directive requiring HSE staff to fill in the COVID-19 section of their personal account by July 15. All staff members must confirm their vaccination status and provide information regarding previous infection or medical exemption.

These requirements also apply to independent contractors working on university premises.

The following groups may continue working as normal:

  • those who are fully vaccinated
  • those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in 2021 and have provided a supporting medical certificate
  • those with a permanent or temporary medical exemption
  • those employed as remote contractors

Staff members who have received their first shot may continue working as normal, provided that they get their second shot by August 15.

Staff members who have not been vaccinated by July 15 and who do not have medical exemptions will be suspended from work without pay.

If a staff member refuses to get vaccinated, their supervisor must submit a report confirming this to the HR Department. Detailed instructions on this procedure have been sent to department heads via corporate email.

If a staff member is on vacation on July 15, the head of their department must inform them on the day before their return of the need to fill out the COVID-19 section of their personal account or get vaccinated on their first working day.

If you have not yet been vaccinated, please fill in the online registration form. To date, over 4,900 staff members and students have been vaccinated under HSE University’s vaccination drive.
