In-person Classes Return in Module 3

Inter-campus courses will continue to be held online

In line with the HSE Rector Nikita Anisimov’s directive, lectures and seminars will finally return to campus after the New Year break. Inter-campus courses offered to students of all four campuses will continue with online instruction.

Other classes may be taught online at the discretion of degree programme academic supervisors. The decision may apply to the entire degree programme, a group of students, or individual students. HSE University faculties may choose to establish general rules at faculty level.

The 50-person class occupancy limit is lifted.

If a student (or several students) contract COVID or come in contact with an infected person, the classes may be temporarily moved online. All standard safety precautions (a mask mandate and social distancing) remain in place.

Retakes

Another new directive clarifies the retakes procedure.

As always, from January 10 to February 15, 2022, students will be able to retake the exams or tests they’ve failed in Modules 1 or 2. Retakes can be held in-person, even if the exam during Module 1 or 2 exam periods was online.
