Five Reasons to Visit Economfest

Economfest is a university event that combines this year’s celebration of the 30^th anniversary of the Faculty of Economic Sciences with a rich entertainment programme. The festival will take place on May 27 in the Pokrovka atrium (11 Pokrovksy Bulvar). Below, we have prepared some details on what's on at the festival and why it's worth attending.

Anti-Lecture and Career Fair

Lecturers from the Faculty of Economic Sciences will give a talk on ‘Should a Job Be Loved or Well-paid?’ (in Russian).

Location: Room R401

Time: 1:30 pm–3:00 pm

In addition, visitors will meet representatives of KPMG and Changellenge, who will talk about vacancies, work conditions and career prospects at their companies.

Time: Noon–6 pm

Games

Several entertainment activities are planned as part of Economfest 2022: the SSFE Dungeon role-playing game (register), board games, a table tennis championship, a music quiz, office volleyball and Svoya Igra (register), in which a student team will compete against a teacher team.

Schedule of activities:

Championships: 1 pm–4 pm

Board games: Noon–6 pm

Cinema club: 6 pm–8 pm

Role-playing board game: Noon–7 pm

Svoya Igra: 3 pm–4 pm

Souvenirs

Participants will get prize tickets for participating in and winning activities. Tickets can be exchanged at the Merch Shop for festival merchandise, including t-shirts, notepads, cups and pens. There will also be a special festival photo booth.

HSE DANCE Class

HSE DANCE instructor Anastasia Kurlatova will be running a free jazz funk dance class for guests of Economfest.
