Workshop on ‘Academic Writing Traditions: Tips on How to Switch from Local to International Publishing Requirements’
In the modern globalised world, researchers need to know about international publishing requirements and the differences between academic discourse construction in Russian and in English. During the workshop, we will talk about academic writing traditions in different cultures, as well as discuss how to make academic texts coherent in English. You will learn about how to construct academic texts that meet international publishing expectations.

Can we solve the garbage problem? How much does the green future cost? Why do we need a Russian taxonomy of green projects? What green practices are Russian businesses adopting in the new environment? Experts will answer these and many other questions. Participants of the event can collect bottle caps and waste paper (and get discount certificates from the Grusha HSE cafe in return), take part in a ‘green’ quiz, and have a picnic.
