Cooperation Agreement Signed between University of Southampton and HSE

The Higher School of Economics and the University of Southampton (United Kingdom) have signed a cooperation agreement to expand their research collaboration and to facilitate academic and student mobility between the two universities.

The University of Southampton Faculty of Social and Human Sciences will be HSE's key partner. The Social Sciences group has been engaged for many years in major international projects in the fields of social policy, demography, well-being, social gerontology, family, and social cohesion.

Consultations have also taken place between the University of Southampton's and HSE representatives concerning the establishment of a double degree Master's program in international social policy.

The University of Southampton is one of the leading research and entrepreneurial universities in the UK. The University is in the top hundred of the world's best universities, according to the recent QS World University Rankings and Webometrics, and according to the 2011 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
