HSE Perm Campus Produces Best Master’s Student at University of Essex

Dmitry Sidorenko, a student enrolled in the joint Master’s programme ‘Business Strategies in a Global Environment’, which is run by the HSE Perm campus and the University of Essex (UK), has won a prize as the best student in the Master's programmes in entrepreneurship at the Essex Business School.

This prize is awarded annually to the best student in the Master's programmes at this British institution. Sidorenko ranked first out of 70 students (this year eight students from the HSE Perm Campus are studying at the University of Essex under a joint double-degree programme).

‘I am very happy and didn’t expect to win because, in my opinion, there were many other deserving students’, said Sidorenko. ‘The programme has been quite difficult, but studying has been a great pleasure. During this time, I have changed my attitude towards learning. In England there are fewer required subjects, so most time is spent studying independently.’

Sidorenko is currently preparing his Master’s dissertation on the topic of organizational culture in higher education, which he will present at the University of Essex in September.

Congratulations!
