Summer Student Project Contest Commences

Each quarter, HSE holds the Student Project Contest, which allows projects deemed important for university or social development to receive financial, organizational, or any other type of support to help them succeed.

All HSE students are invited to submit their projects through the ‘HSE.Family’ platform before June 7. Since the site currently does not have an English interface, international students may submit their applications to studsupport@hse.ru. Students and experts will vote for projects from June 7 to 14. A shortlist of the highest-scoring projects will be announced, which will then be presented to the Foundation Council on June 25-26.

Students are eligible to submit entries to the competition at any of our HSE campuses and will be placed in the running to win up to 200,000 roubles that can be put towards their project.

Students wishing to submit a project in the summer contest should plan on implementing it before December 30, 2018. When submitting your application, please keep in mind that an average of 2-3 weeks is required from the moment the winners are announced to the actual implementation of the project. This time is required in order to carry out final preparations, prepare documentation and settle any project costs.

More information about changes to the competition and the results of previous contests can be found on the website. In September, in addition to the HSE Student Project Contest, a new mechanism to support student projects - ‘HSEcoin’ - will be launched.
