How HSE Can Help With Your Rent

For the third year in a row, HSE will continue to provide financial assistance to students who move out of the student dormitories and rent an apartment. This year, the number of students who will receive assistance will increase to 1000. The monthly payment will be 10000 rubles over the period from 01.09.2018 to 30.06.2019.
Who Can Claim Financial Assistance?
Students who are eligible to apply for financial assistance (from September 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019) are: students in the third and fourth years of their bachelor's degree, students in the second year of a master's degree, and students of doctoral programmes (with the exception of those whose university enrolment ends on 01.11. 2018).
To be eligible, students must be living in the HSE dormitory or the Sevastopol Hotel at the time of selection, be studying full-time and not be on leave (academic or maternity leave / childcare leave). In addition, students should be able to provide TIN – Taxpayer identification number (RUS: ИНН – can be obtained in one of Moscow’s multifunctional service centres) and be in possession of VTB or Sberbank bank cards of the Moscow region (‘MIR’ payment system).
There is time enough to find an apartment and pack your belongings – students only need to move by August 5, 2018.
How to Apply
Applications will be accepted from 04/06/2018 to 30/06/2018. Students wishing to receive financial assistance for living expenses outside the HSE student dormitories should fill in all the fields in their LMS profile and attach a scan / photo of the following: TIN (if you can find your TIN here, you can attach a screenshot), registration, copies of all passport pages with stamps, bank card details and bank account details. Students of doctoral programmes who wish to receive assistance should complete the questionnaire and send it to: otbor2018@hse.ru together with all supporting documents (TIN, registration, copy of all passport pages, bank card and bank account details).
In addition, applicants should sign an agreement stating the termination of their current dormitory contract no later than July 30, 2018 (this should be addressed to the dormitory manager) and should vacate the premises before 05.08.2018.
