Last Chance to Donate Your HSEcoin in 2018

The work of HSEcoin crowdfunding platform has been extended till November 25. HSE students still have a few days to donate their HSEcoins to student projects or initiate fundraising themselves.
After November 25 all unused HSEcoins will be cancelled, and the platform will go on winter vacations. The organizers will analyze the initial results of HSE crowdfunding campaign and will return with an improved version of HSEcoin in 2019.
There are currently four active projects on the platform:
- IceVyshka. HSE student curators want to organize night skating. They will need 750 HSEcoins (150,000 rubles) to rent a rink and equipment;
- A leisure room in Dormitory 7. Students from Dormitory 7 plan to create comfortable atmosphere by equiping the room with beanbag chairs, a projector, table football and board games. All this will cost 275 HSEcoins (55,000 rubles);
- Winter Chess School. HSE chess club wants to raise 250 HSEcoins (50,000 rubles) to organize a winter school for students;
- Black Crows. HSE hockey team Black Crows aims to raise 445 HSEcoins (89,000 rubles) to launch a line of club merchandise and souvenirs.
Since the platform launch, more than 4,000 students have donated their HSEcoins. 11 projects have successfully raised funds (over 70% of the stated goal within 30 days) for a total amount of more than 800,000 rubles.
