Student Charity Projects Invite Everyone to Collect Presents for Orphanages and Take Part in Christmas Present Exchange
HSE Outreach
It’s only a month until the New Year, and we are starting to collect presents for children in orphanages in Elatma and Gavrilov Yam! You can use the list below or this Google Doc to choose a present, or bring ANY OTHER present that you think the kids would enjoy!
This week, we are installing boxes in some HSE buildings where you can leave your presents.
You can find the boxes in the following buildings:
- 11 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa
- Strogino
- Ordynka
- Shabolovka

- Learning lacers
- Flashcards
- Construction sets
- Velcro construction sets
- Learning toys
- Ring stackers
- Copy books
- Toiletries
- Diapers (for infants, as well as for kids aged 5-6 years)
- Creative mosaic toys for babies
- Embroidery kits
- Creative kits
Present 4 the Soul
New Year is a time of miracles, and anyone can help make a miracle! Give a piece of a Christmas fairytale to those who need it! Take part in Present 4 the Soul, our present market, which takes place from December 12 – 18! Follow this link to participate.
You can give anything as a present, for example:
- A book that you’ve already read and are willing to pass it on to the next reader;
- A jar of jam given to you by your grandmother, but it turns out you have too much of it, and you are willing to share it;
- A key chain or a magnet you brought in another city or country…
And many other things!
You can also teach others to do something you are good at, such as:
- Cooking gingerbread, which would be a great skill before a New Year party;
- Creating Christmas ornaments, which can not only decorate your tree, but can also be a great present for friends;
- Are you good at taking photos? Invite people to a photo shoot: you will add to your portfolio, and they will get some beautiful shots for their collection.
