Where Can I Meet Potential Employers?
We have a Career Development Centre, which offers employment services for HSE students and graduates. It cooperates with over 500 Russian and international companies and state organizations, including Sberbank, KPMG, Mail.ru, Yandex, Google, Rosneft, Procter&Gamble, Mercedes-Benz, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Moscow Government. You can stop by to get career advice and help in finding an internship.
The website https://career.hse.ru/ and the Centre’s social media pages publish daily announcements about the most interesting vacancies and internships for HSE students.
In autumn and spring, the Centre organizes a major career event – the HSE Career Fair. Here, you can meet the employers in person, talk to leading HR experts, submit your CV to the best companies, and find the job of your dreams.
Where Can I Develop My Business Acumen?
At the HSE Case Club, Russia’s biggest case club, students learn about doing business in both theory and practice. The club welcomes students and graduates from HSE and other universities to help them build business ventures under the supervision of experts from McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, P&G and other leading global firms.
The ‘Business in .RU style’ student association will help you create your first website or app for Android and iOS. You’ll study design, digital marketing, photography, and maybe even develop your own game. After spending two years in this student association, you will already have portfolio with real life projects.
How Can I Stay in Touch with HSE After Graduation?
You can always contact the HSE Alumni Centre, which carries out surveys, tracks HSE graduates’ careers, organizes events, solves administrative issues, and enhances social networks within the larger HSE family. There, you can always find your classmate’s contacts if you’ve lost connection with them. Visit https://alumni.hse.ru/en/.
HSE graduates also have their own social network, HSE Family: http://family.hse.ru.
HSE tracks its alumni’s success as part of a special project. The university’s website regularly publishes interviews with graduates who have become businesspeople, scholars and professionals in various fields. They speak about what they do, unveil their professional secrets and share their experiences.
