Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at a Conference in Saint Petersburg

On March 26, during a session of the "Psycholinguistics" section, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language K.K. Kashleva delivered a presentation titled "Acquisition of Personal Pronouns by Spanish Students Learning Russian as a Foreign Language" (prepared in co-authorship with N.A. Slyusar, Associate Professor at the School of Linguistics).
She discussed the challenges that Spanish-speaking learners encounter when studying Russian personal pronouns. The presentation also described specific patterns in the usage of such pronouns within narratives produced by Spanish students. The talk aroused considerable interest among section participants and facilitated discussion of important theoretical aspects of teaching Russian as a Foreign Language.
