Educators from the School of Russian as a Foreign Language have been honored as HSE University's Best Teachers of 2026.

Ivan Ryzhachenkov, a Senior Lecturer at the School of Russian as a Foreign Language, alongside alumnae of the Master’s programme in Russian as a Foreign Language, have released an interactive handbook for international students titled Fighting Like Cats and Dogs in the Young Adult genre. The book is fundamentally grounded in the methodology of natural language acquisition through engaging, story-driven narratives.
