Seminar "Capital expenditures Accounting in assessing the dynamics of total factor productivity. Russia KLEMS experience"
The measurement of capital dynamics as a factor of production is based on the concept of capital services, which was included in the 2008 SNA. The seminar will present the experience of calculating capital services for the Russian economy in 1995-2016.
Different approaches to assessing capital as a factor of production will also be presented. A comparison of stocks and capital services will be carried out. The approaches to the assessment of stocks and capital services according to Russian statistics for the period since 1995 in the context of 34 activities and the role of capital in assessing the sources of growth of the Russian economy on the example of Russia KLEMS; The advantages and disadvantages of various indicators are reviewed.
