The scholarship as awarded to support the best master’s students from leading Russian universities and to help them develop personal and professional competences

Number of scholarships
750 scholarships for 75 Russian universities. The recipients can also take part in the Fund School
Recipients
Full-time master’s students (state-funded status and citizenship are not relevant)
Selection criteria
Applicants should be socially active and goal-oriented. They should demonstrate high academic potential, leadership potential, creativity; organizational skills; teamwork and communication skills and the ability to adapt to new situations and find creative solutions

February 2024

From February to the month the master’s programme ends
Application deadline
November 20, 2023
Application procedure
Students fill in the application form and submit the following documents: copy of the diploma (bachelors and specialists); a letter of recommendation from their academic supervisor, an essay on the proposed topic of the master's thesis and a motivation letter. The applications are reviewed and the applicants are selected for participation in the second round of the competition. The second round is organized as a business game in January. After two rounds the Expert Council determines 750 winners.
Grounds for early scholarship termination
Student expulsion, leaves of absence, student transfer to a different university (including internships)
