We are pleased to announce the second edition of the Summer School on Intellectual Capital “The Changing Role of Intangibles over the Crisis” 22 – 27 July 2013. The School is organised by the International Research Laboratory of Higher School of Economics “The Intangible Drivers of New Economy” (Perm Campus). Our team is eager to share the knowledge about:
- starting new research,
- developing research design,
- collecting the data,
- testing hypotheses,
- and finally getting published in the peer review journals.
We are inviting PhD students and young researchers who are involved in empirical projects and writing research papers mainly related to an exploration of companies’ behaviour and decisions towards intangibles and innovations. Furthermore we would like focusing on the issue of company’s success during the economic instability, namely the crisis of 2008-2009. The variety of topics connected with intellectual capital, knowledge management, value creation and innovation management are also encouraged for application.
The program of the Summer School turns to expand knowledge about the empirical based studies, econometric tools and improve academic writing skills. During our school participants will attend classes and workshops conducted by commended professors from European Universities. It provides a unique platform for presenting and discussing participants’ papers or work-in-progress, time for individual advice sessions with experts, and getting instant feedback in a friendly and collaborative environment during the main training, social activities and coffee breaks.
All participants will be provided with handouts and will have access to study materials.
Summer School offers a broad social activity program including sightseeing tour, welcome and farewell party. One of the Summer School days appears to be a surprise for all participants and lecturers!
The teaching language is English. Basic knowledge about econometrics, microeconomics and corporate finance are required to apply for Summer School.
To get an opportunity to attend the 2nd International Summer School on Intellectual Capital, please, submit the draft of the research paper and attach your CV no later than 3 June 2013. You will receive a decision until 7 June 2013.
