Problem Areas for Students

In Data Science minor and BA programme "Sociology and Social Informatics" I work with students on projects in Social Computing, Web Science, Computational Social Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Learning Analytics.

We study (and, in part, design) gamification systems, recommendation and reputation systems in the Web, online games, online-communities, social networks, online games and everything connected to "Digital Footprints"

First seminar of Research Group "Machine Learning and Social Computing": trajectories of development and research of online games

On January 21 the first adjusting seminar of Research Group "Machine Learning and Social Computing" took a place. Current plans and the main ideas about future work were discussed; design and some results of researches on social algorithms in online games and eSports were presented.

HSE Researchers Present Their Study on Educational Migration

Research projects on social informatics of the Laboratory of Sociology in Education and Science have been presented at two conferences in Germany.
