Ten students from the Brigham Young University (Utah, USA) have arrived in Nizhny Novgorod for the Summer School on Russian Language and Culture. Between now and midsummer the students will attend lectures on intercultural communication, literature and Russian history as well as improving their knowledge of Russian.

The Summer School on Machine Learning in High Energy Physics, which was co-organised by the HSE Faculty of Computer Science and Russian internet company Yandex, has ended. From Ancient Inscriptions to Blogs: Different Disciplines’ View on Ego Texts

HSE has held its post-graduate humanities summer school 'History in the First Person: From Antiquity to Our Time'. The summer school was dedicated to texts written or recorded in the first person, as well as to various methods for analysing them. The school’s organizers and participants spoke with the HSE news service about what ego texts are, how representatives of different disciplines work with them, and how French methodology differs from Russian.

Classical Studies Discussed at HSE Perm

Research and study activities continue at HSE Perm even during vacations. A Summer School in Classical Studies, ‘Political Regimes of the Antiquity 3: Political Evolution and Socio-economic Development’ started on August 26 at the Perm campus. 'HSE Is the Best Place for Work on Issues in International Relations'

HSE has held the 5th International Relations Russia-China Summer School 'Eurasia 2020: Prospects for cooperation.' The school has been held since 2011 by the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs jointly with the East China Normal University (Shanghai, China). This year it was held with support from the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund. This is the only summer school of this kind held in Russia.
